The iPhone has a main processor and memory chips from Samsung Electronics. It’s audio-processing chip is from Britain’s Wolfson Microelectronics PLC. The WiFi chip is from Marvell Technology Group Ltd.
In the photos below, we see an even better shot of the bottom of that iPhone mother board as well as the ribbon connectors that attach to the bottom of the iPhone mother board. These ribbon connectors are very tiny and very difficult to re-attach once you disconnect them. At first I thought I might have to take everything apart to get them back in place.
In the final three photos you’ll see that I lifted the motherboard out of the front casing so you could get a better look.
