iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 5 Released & AT&T to Lower Monthly Fees?

Yesterday in an somewhat out of normal release schedule, Apple released iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 5....just 8 days after the release of Beta 4. This is most likely due to the upcoming World Wide Developers Conference in early June as Apple needs to complete the OS's feature set. As some of you may know, I'm a developer however I haven't installed any of the Beta OSes on my iPhone because my phone is critical to my daily communication. In any case, Beta 5 is released & should any surprises occur, we'll let you know...
In what seems to be totally unexpected, AT&T seems to be considering a $10 drop in monthly fees for iPhone users. A story from The Street says that AT&T may drop their monthly fees from $69 to $59 at this year's WWDC. As for me, I'm not certain that they'll make this adjustment but it sure would be welcome...Remember boys and girls, we're only about 1 month away from the possible announcement of a third generation iPhone.

If you need help getting your UDID activated on a developers account i found the website that i linked to my name above actually found them in facebook, just click on my name to go there. They had me up and running in no time and i now have complete access to their Apple developers account with my own user ID and password. It was worth it, just my 2 cents for anyone who is in the same boat i was.
