Yesterday, Amazon.com purchased the company behind the leading ebook reader application for the iPhone/iTouch platforms, Stanza.
Downloaded more than 1 million times, Stanza lets users access over 10,000 eBooks 24 hours a day. Stanza currently supports the ePub format which currently the Kindle does not. Current users of Stanza were told not to worry as changes aren't planned. "We are not planning any changes in the Stanza application or user experience as a result of the acquisition."
