Lotus Notes Support Arrives on the iPhone

After announcing that they were working on Lotus Notes support for the iPhone in March 2008, IBM has finally made iNotes Ultralite available in the AppStore. The free download allows users to check their email as well as view their calendars and contacts.

According to a ComputerWorld article, after the app is downloaded, iNotes can be accessed via the iPhone's browser. Also included is a VPN client, Lotus Notes Mobile Connect.

The initial reaction has been positive and unfortunately at the time of publishing the app was not yet available in the AppStore. If you'd like to download the app, it should be available shortly.
