iPhone OS 2.2 Beta Released to Developers

Hot on the heels of the recent iPhone OS 2.1 release, Apple is diligently working on the next upgrade to its mobile operating system. Screenshots comparing 2.1 with version 2.2 seem to be floating around the usual websites, however details are scarce. Here's what Safari in OS 2.2 is being reported to look like:

Right off the bat, in the left screenshot, you'll notice that the refresh button has been moved into the url field AND that the search/magnifying glass icon has been replaced by the google search field on the right side of the url area.

Other than those obvious changes, we've heard rumors of cut and paste being included in this release, but nary a peep has been mentioned about Push Notification Services (PNS). I wonder where or when all these features are coming?
