It was refreshing to read an interview with Andrew Welch of Ambrosia Software over at TUAW. For those not in the know, Ambrosia has been in the shareware software business for over 15 years and Andrew is no stranger to the Mac as his company has been making great software for the Mac since day one. Andrew is interviewed about his feelings on Apple, the iPhone and how the iPhone 1.1.1 broke his ringtone product called iToner.
What I found refreshing is that Mr. Welch could be very angry and bitter at Apple at this time in his career, especially with all of the Apple hate going on at this time. Instead Welch chooses using the wisdom of being in the business for a long time to bring to light some of the reasons Apple does what they do.
