AT&T to limit iPhone to one per person

| | Comments (2)

In an email sent to customers, it seems AT&T will limit one (1) Apple iPhone per person on Friday. This is probably to prevent hoarding of the device and will probably stop a lot of folks from grabbing 2 or more to sell on eBay. Good job!

That's good news for AT&T and us I suppose, but speaking of AT&T, did you read the mixed review in the New York Times about the iPhone? The guy points out that web access on the iPhone through AT&T's EDGE service is horribly slow (his words). It took 2 minutes for the full Yahoo front page to load!

I'm not surprised it's slow at all. Edge has been slow since the day it arrived... add this to AT&T's network and you've got snails that crawl faster than webpages load.
